Andoni Isolao (Bornemouth)

Annual wages: over £1 million per year

Andoni Iraora won only one win in his first 10 Premier League matches at Bournemouth last year, but he turned things around on the South Coast.

Iraora is one of the low-earning players in the division, and reportedly has a first two-year deal with Cherry, who has reportedly won £1 million per season. However, given that the former Rayo Vallecano boss signed a 12-month extension just before the end of 2023/24, I think his wages have risen somewhat since.

Nuno Espirito Santo (Nottingham Forest)

Annual wages: over £2 million per year

Nuno Espirito Santo is tasked with safely piloting the Nottingham Forest and is planning to take Reds to Europe in 2025/26.

The former Wolf and Spurs boss was thought to have become Forest’s highest-paid manager when he was brought to Evangelos Marinakis. And with a salary of £2 million along with his predecessor Steve Cooper at the time of his departure, we can assume that Espirito Santo is carrying a terrible wage.

Annual wage: £3 million per year

Ipswichtown has dodged obvious interests from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United in manager Kieran McKenna, so the Tractor Boys have handed him a new contract for the 38-year-old.

McKenna’s new term is thought to be around £3 million a year, representing a significant rise, but left a coach who won double the promotion at the poor end of the Premier League scale.

Eddie Howe (Newcastle United)

Annual wage: £4 million per year

Since helmed at the helm at Newcastle United, Toon Boss has not produced any surprising results, ensuring that he will be well ahead of schedule with a top-4 finish in 2022/23. Under his leadership, the Magpie has not only skyrocketed to impressive heights, but has also established itself as one of the more impressive outfits in the Premier League.

Eddie Howe is currently on an annual salary of £4 million, but it would have been an increase if Magpie had qualified European football again last year.

Newcastle could still line up for wage increases as it guaranteed a European location courtesy of the historic EFL Cup victory in 2025/26.

Annual wage: £4 million per year

Marco Silva has helped establish Fulham as a steady Premier League outfit since securing the championship title, achieving the promotion and further strengthening his position in the eyes of owner Shahid Khan.

Since taking charge at Craven Cottage in 2021, the former Everton boss has done an incredible job, earning a substantial salary of £4 million along with an annual bonus of £500,000.

This famous success clearly serves as Silva’s motivation, and his team has been transformed into a European challenger under his leadership.

Enzo Maresca (Chelsea)

Annual wage: £4.2 million per year

The newest boss churned out on manager Stamford Bridge conveyor belt was Enzo Maresca. He had more recent trophies than his predecessor, Mauricio Pockettino, but his reported wages have been warned by the Argentinians who earned more than £10 million a year in West London.

The Chelsea hierarchy clearly gives Maresca the opportunity to raise his salary through positive outcomes.

Europe’s success may be key to this for Maresca, who oversaw the Blues side in 2024/25, at least in multiple ways.

Oliver Glassner (Crystal Palace)

Annual wage: £4.5 million per year

Oliver Glasner was appointed as Crystal Palace boss on a contract until 2026, and reportedly earning a total salary of around 4.5 beans.

The 2022 Europa League winner has a promising start to his career at Selhurst Park. The Eagles clearly piloted the relegation in their first half season before hosting the FA Cup final in 2024/25.

Glasner’s way, this is just his beginning in South London.

Thomas Frank (Brentford)

Annual wage: £4.5 million per year

£4.5 million is a great amount for a very respectable manager. Thomas Frank, who took on the role of Brentford’s manager in 2018, helped the club arrive at the promised Premier League land and become an established top flight outfit.

Following Jurgen Klopp’s departure from Liverpool, Frank is currently behind Pep Guardiola as the longest serving manager in the department.

Annual wage: £5 million per year

He beat Premier League legends like Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho, earning the best start of the Premier League season for a new manager in league history.

They are aiming for European glory amid awful league campaign, but the former Celtic boss is in a position to boost his current annual salary of £5 million.

David Moys (Everton)

Annual wage: £5 million per year

David Moet’s return to Everton is unquestionable, and Scott safely piloted the Merseysider after Sean Dish was fired in early January.

Reports say Moe, who left Goodison Park to win the Conference League, signed a two-and-a-half year contract worth £12.5 million and appeared for £5 million a year.

Despite being one of the more expensive bosses in the Premier League, it is certainly a decision that paid off by the Friedkin group.
