Leeds United is thought to be ready to trigger a release clause for the former Premier League forward this summer as the 49ers company and Daniel Fark prepare to return to top flight.
Leeds celebrates the championship title with a huge parade
It was a memorable few weeks for the whites who officially won the past March Monday, partying in front of Elland Road fans, and recently enjoyed themselves in the past March by parading the city’s championship titles.
In the final game of the season, Manor Solomon’s Injury Time winner at Southwest will face Plymouth Argyle. Both sides finished with 100 points, and Leeds players have since partyed hard in an open-top bus parade that is coming out to celebrate with an estimated 150,000 supporters.
Speaking during the bus parade, Leeds Chairman Parag Malasse said: “I don’t think anyone noticed, this was not easy. It was really difficult. It was two years to reach this point, all the effort and difficulties are now more rewarding and today is so special. I hope I will never forget this moment.
“This is a journey. This is not the end. We have to continue. This is what Leeds does. We have some difficulties, but we go where we want to go and become one of the best clubs in all of Europe.”

The whites raced for the forwards that are attracting attention from many Premier League clubs.

Leeds signs Musazinnepo ready to pay the release clause
According to a report broadcast by Sport Witness, Leeds is ready to trigger a release clause of Moussa Djenepo this summer of 2 million euros (£1.7 million).
Currently available for rent from Standard Liege on Antalyaspor, Djenepo doesn’t want to move to Turkish permanents that could open white doors.
The approach was reportedly made by Djenepo’s Leeds, who played in more than 70 Premier League titles in Southampton between 2019 and 2023.
Djenepo, Mari International, is primarily left-wing, but can occur not only on the mid-season role, but also on the right side. During his time at Southampton, former teammate Nathan Redmond said: “He’s a very talented boy and wants to learn open-mindedly every day. He’s doing well with everyone and fits very well.”
He scored just two goals for Antalyaspor’s 26, but at £1.7 million, he could be considered a good business for the Leeds.
