Is Dana White’s presence in boxing a good thing?
UFC Hall of Fame Daniel Cormier jumped on his YouTube channel and posted a reaction video. He feels that Dana White’s role in promoting Canelo Alvarez vs. Terrence Crawford can be added (via Mmafighting) public interest in the fight.
“Dana White is going to promote this, and I feel it brings a different level of interest to (boxing) because Dana White is promoting this, and it will be a huge hit event.
“This will be one of the biggest pay-per-views we’ve ever seen. I believe it’s very competitive and adds some elements that Dana promotes, and the Riyadh season will promote, and more people will respond to what’s going on in this big fight.”
White and Turki Aralsif are lined up to get TKO’s boxing off the ground. Some fans wonder if this means that UFC bosses are ready to go full-time in boxing, away from the world of MMA. It hasn’t been seen yet, but for now it appears that White is planning a big thing with sweet science.
