Ashishnera on the Fielding impulse of GT players smokes

The Gujarat Titans chose to pick the field first in the match after winning the toss and they started with a good note as Sai Sudarsan fired Mumbai Indian opener Ryan Rickelton with a stunning low catch on the second ball in the first over.

But from above, things went downhill completely due to the Gujarat Titans on the field. With the fourth ball in the first over, Will Jacks got a reprieve when it went to zero.

Mohammed Siraj bowled the full delivery to Willjax with an offstamp, and the batter made a refreshing drive straight into Sai Skulsan’s hands.

Will Jacks scored another lifeline with the sixth fifth ball, batting with a score of 30. Left arm pacer Al Shad Khan bowled a lengthy back delivery to Will Jax, who had given him a messy bounce towards midwicket, and Mohammed Shiraj went down a straight word catch.

Before that, in the fifth over, Suryakumalyadav was given a lifeline while batting at 12. Seeing this, Nera was very disappointed, who was close to the bystanders.

A strategic timeout was taken after the sixth over, and Nella plunged into the field and was highly animated with Team Huddle. A gesture from Team Huddle’s Asishnera revealed that the GT head coach was slamming the player for dropping a catch and telling him to be more active on the field.

Washington Sundar welcomes Ashish Nera

Speaking in a video shared on the IPL website ahead of the match, spin bowling all-rounder Washington Sundal praised Ashishnera for creating a great team atmosphere at GT camp. He said:

“To be honest, the way Ashish Nera sets the atmosphere from the beginning of the season isn’t too far ahead. We really live in that culture. We want to be constantly better.

Washington Sunder further said he is very well prepared for every match in the Indian Premier League. He said:

“One thing we can always look forward to in GT is that we prepare really well. We’ve been in the past and we think we’ve been there in the past and are ready, especially as it’s a low order, not just throughout the season, but every time we enter the season, whenever certain things are in a position to be demanding from us.
