Dean Huysen may have some reservations about joining Arsenal, but according to Simon Phillips, it cannot be ruled out yet.

The Bournemouth defender has been targeted by Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea this summer, with the latter likely leading the race for now.

It says the best Arsenal source he has spoken about, according to a report by Phillips.

Huijsen appears to be concerned about the competition for the location of the Emirates Stadium, but it has also been suggested that Mikel Arteta could still take part in seducing Spanish International to North London.

Dean Huysen is a generational talent that has attracted great interest.

According to Phillips, “Chelsea feel they have very strong offers and projects on the table and the overall package, and regular first team football promises can shake up decisions that are in their favor.

“But while we can’t discount Liverpool and Arsenal, they are still expected to push even more, but the fact so far they haven’t been pushed as hard as Chelsea.

“We’ve heard through the best Arsenal sources you can get, not keen to go there right now for things like William Saliba, Ricardo Calfioli, and Gabriel Magalges.

“We’re still trying because we see Arsenal as a generational talent, but if he’s going to go there, it’s because the wages offered are much higher and Mikel Arteta is involved.”

Dean Huysen must carefully select the next club

Huijsen may be seduced by Chelsea at this point, but he probably shouldn’t rush to get to the Stanford Bridge.

The 20-year-old appears to be seeing a clear upgrade on his current defensive options, so it’s probably right to think that he will play there regularly.

Still, Chelsea is a bit confused under this ownership, with frequent administrative changes and many player turnovers.

This could make it difficult for Huijsen to show his best form and reach his full potential, but he certainly is likely to win major silverware at Arsenal and Liverpool.
