The PGA Tour announced on Tuesday that Jason Day, the 32nd world leader in the world, has withdrawn from this week’s Trust Championship, the PGA Tour announced.

The former major champion was replaced by Patrick Rogers on the Philadelphia field.

On 37 years old, he was forced to withdraw from the athletes’ championship in March due to illness. The Australian is tied for eighth place in the Masters along with Texas kids’ T27 at the Houston Open and T49 at the RBC Heritage.

The Truist Championship is the sixth of eight signature events on the 2025 calendar and features a $20 million wallet. However, the tournament also doesn’t have the world’s No. 1 Scotty Scheffler, who is skipping events to focus on next week’s PGA Championship.
