Fans witnessed the loss of the first professional MMA in Nikkar’s young career last Saturday. Nickal took on the experienced De Ridder at UFC Des Moines’ co-headlining. Things certainly didn’t go as planned by Nikkal. The once undefeated prospect couldn’t handle the pressure of one of the previous two divisions’ championship title holders, and he was crumpled after receiving a knee in the body of the second stanza.

In the aftermath of the loss, Nikkal has a supporter for one man who served as the colour commentator for the fight.

Michael Bispin protects Bo Nikkal

Michael Bispin recently dropped a new episode of his “Beelve You Me” podcast. He provided post-war reviews and admitted that fans felt they were struggling with Beau Nikkal’s hatred (via Mmajunkie).

“Bo Nikkal is being slaughtered online. He gets so much sh*t,” Bisping said. “We both met Beau Nikkal. He’s a really nice guy, he’s respectful. Of course he’s confident and was given his wrestling qualifications. He’s accomplished what he’s accomplished in one of the toughest sports on the planet. It’s difficult.”

Nikkal vowed to return to horses. Prominent MMA figures such as Daniel Cormier share concerns about Nickal’s development in MMA. Nikkal admitted in “The Ariel Helwani Show” that his defeat to Rain de Ridar was an eye-opening experience for him.

Nikkal coach Mike Brown shared an Instagram post and said Nikkal could take on the defeat as a positive learning experience.
