Alex Marquez: Dovi has three MotoGP titles without marks!

Alex Marquez, who finished runner-up with the Mark brothers in six races this season, took advantage of the early error of #93 to finally win his debut MotoGP at the Spanish Grand Prix.

It was proof that Alex was not annoyed by repeatedly finishing in his words as “Mr P2,” but was eager to see the moment round and eagerly, and that even the toughest enemies would be rewarded.

Earlier in the season, when asked if he was tired of Mark repeatedly blocking his hopes of victory, Alex smiled:

“I told him so many times… I mean, come on!

“Imagine Dovi, without a mark, what title he has in his career in MotoGP.

“It’s something like this when you’re in your best moments and you’re in front of a rival like Mark.

“So we can see what he’s doing – and we can – and that’s an opportunity to learn and improve.”

Dovizioso was runner-up at Marc Marquez, a Repsol Honda Rider, in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Marquez is currently riding Dovi’s former factory Ducati team, which won his first MotoGP title with Francesco Bagnaia in 2022.

Meanwhile, Gresini rider Alex leads Motogup’s rankings on a single point around Mark’s heading for the French Grand Prix in Le Mans.
