Franco Morbidelli is suitable for French MotoGP returns

Franco Morbidelli is completely clear to return to MotoGP action at MotoGP in France this weekend, following Thursday’s medical checks.

Morbidelli suffered from a second violent fall of Gerres Weekend during the Grand Prix, and was diagnosed with a neck cons, stretching before missing the official test after the race.

However, Le Mans MotoGP health officials confirmed Morbidelli’s fitness ahead of FP1 session on Friday, with the VR46 team saying:

Jerez’s crash ended the perfect point finish for Morbidelli. Morbidelli won two Grand Prix podiums and finished fourth in the World Championships at the GP24.

Morbidelli and Acosta were handed properly and returned to action after Miguel Oliveira missed three rounds with a shoulder injury, but the Le Mans lineup is still not in control of world champions Jorge Martin and LCR Rookie Somkiat Chantra.

However, Nakatani Shiroki maintains four times the Honda entry with his first wildcard appearance.
