Each week, national media members vote for the top candidates in the country on the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA) Top Thoroughbred Voting Triple Crown Trail.

The 14th week of the 2025 NTRA Top 3 Thoroughbred Poll covers the race until May 4th. The new leader in the poll is sovereignty based on his victory in the Kentucky Derby announced by Woodford Reserve at Churchill Downs on May 3rd.

The 3-year-old poll shows horses competing through the Triple Crown. The ranking is based on the 10-9-8-7-7-6-5-4-3-1 voting system. (The number one vote is in parentheses).
