Liverpool reportedly have real interest in the potential relocation of Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremy Fripon before this summer.
Trent Alexander Arnold recently confirmed he will leave Anfield at the end of his contract this summer, confirming that the Reds will need a top-class exchange.
According to Ben Jacobs of Give Me Me Sport, Frimpong, which has a £30 million release clause with bargains this summer, has a “real” Liverpool interest.

Can Jeremy Frimon replace Trent Alexander Arnold?
Frimpong is a standout performer on the Leverkusen side of Xabi Alonso, especially last season, who won the Bundesliga.
Dutch International is known for contributing to a full-back or wingback with a very decent number of goals and support, which appears to be an obvious alternative to Liverpool’s Alexander Arnold.
Frimpong looks like a very attractive and affordable option, so while LFC fans are sure to keep an eye on this situation, it certainly means that other clubs want to move for him.
Liverpool is linked to Kevin de Bruin
Meanwhile, a report from Me Me Me Sport adds that Liverpool has not pursued Kevin de Bruin despite speculating that he is tied to the Manchester City playmaker.
The experienced Belgian International will finish his contract at Etihad Stadium this summer, but he doesn’t really fit into Liverpool’s recruiting model.
Even if De Bruyne was a world class player that long ago, he appears to have now passed his peak, and it’s hard to imagine him continuing to play for top Premier League clubs.
Either way, argue that Liverpool’s links have no truth. It certainly makes sense for the club to continue targeting players who are approaching peak times.
