Brian Windhorst believes the Boston Celtics have some tough decisions.
There are some concerns about the future of their team when the Boston Celtics go 0-2 for the New York Knicks.
Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum were unable to proceed to this series. Tatum’s performance in particular has sparked concern.
But not everyone is now sounding a panic alarm. Shaquille O’Neal insisted that the Knicks actually had a high risk of losing the series.
Brian Windhorst points to a unique aspect of the Knicks Celtics series. However, ESPN analysts now believe the Celtics are in serious danger.

Brian Windhorst spoke about the Boston Celtics about ESPN. He thinks the Celtics have a lot to do in the line heading into Game 3.
Windhorst reminded the audience that, coupled with the Celtics’ inflated wage bill and new ownership, it means it’s difficult to justify to keep this roster alone.
“What’s going to happen to this team from this year onwards? Now, this is a conversation I didn’t think I had on May 7th. I thought this would be a July conversation.”
“But next year, their salary will be $460 million when you calculate taxes. I don’t even know if they’ll be able to get Al Horford back. That’s up to $500 million.”
“They have a new owner. They’re buying it for $6 billion. They need to take on all these partners just to put together half of their money…but this team may not come back.”
“If they can’t get out of this series, I don’t know how you can justify spending $500 million on the roster again… whether these guys want to be together and stack more rings.”

Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown account for almost 30% of the Celtics’ huge wage bill. And given the situation, it’s time to remind people why they make so much money.
Both stars are far from the best in the first two games, with filming from the field really inadequate, especially in the fourth quarter.
If the Celtics can step into Madison Square Garden, one of the most well-known arenas for away teams to play, and win, it must be thanks to Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown.
It’s difficult to turn your form around in the playoffs. It’s especially difficult when you’re on the road at 0-2. However, such performances from the duo allowed them to solidify as one of the greatest greats of all time.
