Emma Laducanu cruised to the 32nd round at the Italian Open on Friday, beating Switzerland’s Jill Teicychman.
The 6-2, 6-2 victory came when Raducanu saw the shape from his first serve to the last of Rome in under 90 minutes.
Britt fired six aces at one of the Teichmans on a dominant display.
Raducanu said he was pleased with how she adapted after his former opponent, Ekaterina Alexandrov, had to withdraw just before the match.
“To be honest, it was pretty mental,” Radkanu told Sky Sports.
“I was warming up for a match with Alexandrova and suddenly I was told I was playing Jill and on top of that she’s a completely different challenge.”
Raducanu said she is still working on the clay performance but is pleased with the results.
“I’m not really comfortable yet (with clay), but I have to be very focused on being a big challenge, not trying to get all the points right and right, so it helps me,” she said.
“The points are long and the ball gets heavier. When I was offering it, it was slow and slow, so it’s physical, but I’m slowly finding my feet.”
Veronika Kudermetova is waiting for age 22 on Saturday.
