Lecture progress: Three clubs will hold the eye of the Arsenal star that Arteta is pushing to maintain

AC Milan is reportedly one of many clubs paying attention to the situation of Arsenal’s versatile attacker Leandro Trossard.

Belgian International has been a key player for Arsenal since joining Brighton midway through the 2022/23 season, but has received a slightly inconsistent campaign this term.

According to Semper Milan, amid uncertainty about Trossard’s future, there is interest from Italy in Milan’s presence among potential suitors.

The Italian giant will be joined by Serie A rivals Napoli and Juventus maintaining the Trossard tab, but new contract talks with Arsenal appear to be on track.

Leandro Trossard to stay at Arsenal?

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is said to be a fan of Torosad’s versatility. The Spanish tactician is a key figure at Emirates Stadium, which is trying to keep him 30 years old.

Arsenal will certainly shake things up with a new signature in the offense this summer, but it certainly makes sense to keep the Torosad, even as a squad player.

Trossard may not be the youngest, but the AFC appears ready to extend his stay with a new deal. So it will be interesting to see how this progresses in weeks and months.

Arsenal could sign a new winger this summer

Speaking exclusively Catch off side For his latest column, Charles Watts provided insight into Arsenal’s plans to sign a new winger this summer.

“The reason why Arsenal won’t see them buying two strikers this summer is because I think they’ll spend a lot of money on another winger,” Watts said.

“It’s clear that they need to broaden another option. Someone who can add to what they already have and help them open the game.

“Like I said last week, I don’t know if it has to be an out-and-out winger. It could be a wide and playable person, but it could also drift into the central area and share the creative burden with Martin Odegard.

“German reports suggest that Arsenal is looking at Jamie Gitens and will be interesting.

“He’s the player you describe as an out-and-out winger. He’s still pretty raw, but he really has the ability to run on a defender and carry long distances of the ball. That’s what Arsenal lacks right now.”
