Big A Belmont, Race 10, Ruffian Stakes for $200,000, Post Time 6:16 ET ET
The Grade 2 Raffian Stakes drew 11 fields and fields of mares set to run one mile on the main track and one mile in a $200,000 wallet. This is a good bet race with competitors loaded, but perhaps nothing better #10 My mane squeezeSuidobashi horse on the course, which won three of her previous four starts on this track. Most recently he won a gradual stakes race at Churchill Downs last year. My mane wasn’t embarrassed by the last third time in the Madison Stakes, a decisive race in Grade 1 at Keeneland, despite having needed that race after nearly six months of rest. She was completely discovered to return to the winner’s circle in the second race after the layoffs. This race appears to have some pace, but the field does not have a true, stained, true stain. The speed of speed is #1 Take the Moneyhoney Who is likely to be sent from the railroad and if you make the lead as you expect it can prove to be extremely difficult to catch. This is her stakes debut, but she has won three of her previous four starts and came in the nose to maintain a perfect record two races before. The 94 Beyer Speed figures she won last time in her 5¼-length victory at Laurel Park show that she fits well in this competition. The horses who refused a perfect record two races before Take the Moneyhoney also took part in this race. #3 Catherine Wheel He finished third place finishing in the Laurel Stakes race on the last muddy track, earning a flavienplatt on trainer Chad Brown, and is in shape enough to be considered a major competitor for this miles.
Theatre: I’ll bet #10 My Mane Squeeze (7-2) Win and play her with an accurate box and triple box #1 Take the Moneyhoney (10-1) and #3 Catherine Wheel (8-1). Start a slow daily double using my mane aperture with the top 3 picks of Race 11.
Big A Belmont, Race 11, $200,000 Peter Pan Stakes, Post Time 6:46 PM ET
The Grade 3 Peter Pan Stakes, located at 1 1/8 miles of the main track, serves as a local prep race for New York for the Belmont Stakes, although two races are currently running on a variety of tracks. The field of 10 three-year-olds is assembled, many of whom aim to use the top finish in this race as a stepping stone for the third gem of the triple crown. The horses in the race that are most likely to meet this possibility are #4 Hill RoadHe came from Ireland last fall and finished third in the Fanduel Breeders ‘Cup Juvenile presented by the TAA, and only made his second start as a 3-year-old. He finished third in the Lamboholm Southernpava Derby, the only outing of the year that looked like a trainer Chad Brown’s prep race. Hill Road then missed the start in the final round of the Derby Prep race, but finds this ideal spot to rebound at an additional distance that fits him against a legitimate standout field. #8 Captain Cook Another horse that excelled based on a victory earlier this year in the $250,000 Wizards Stakes on this track and distance, earning the distance that earned this track and top carrier speed figures on this field at 94. Captain Cook won all his hopes at the end, one basket, one basket, one basket. Otherwise, Rodriguez is not checked on the lead. A better pace scenario in this race should lead to a better finish. There are many other candidates in this race looking for a triple spot, but the best of them is #6 Uncagedafter first entering the Stakes Company for trainer Todd Plecher and earned two of his three lifetimes. Unlike closers who are not too close #1 Vassimo and #5 McAfeeblew past the allowance field until the end in his last race. He’s pretending to Carlin and could get even better with an extra furlong to work 1 1/8 miles at Peter Pan.
Theatre: I’ll bet #4 Hill Road (5-2) Win and play him with Exacta and Trifecta Boxes #6 Uncaged (8-1) and #8 Captain Cook (2-1).
