Jamahar Hill has not spent any money on Kamza Chimaev.
Following his impressive performance against Sean Strickland in February, Doricus du Plessis, although no official announcements have been made, is linked to the leaning of his title with Chimeh. Instead, we were hit by a barrage of rumors and false reports, as “DDP” claims to have broken his shins and regained the conflict for over six months.
Luckily, Duplesis uncovered those rumors, but not before he let the fight fans sweat for a few days.
You may not know when, but Duplesis vs. Chimaev sounds like a natural conclusion at this point. As it stands, Chimaev is a favorite of -145 to win his first UFC title, but “DDP” is a slight weaker of +125.
“Sweet Dreams” don’t like those odds.
“I’d probably prefer Doricus du Plessis just because of simple facts, I’ve now doubted this guy many times and he’s silenced me every time,” Hill said in an interview with Helen Yi. “I’ve come to understand how his posture works, and it may seem like he’s exhausted or slowed down, but he really isn’t. He has better aerobic exercise. I think his physical fitness will cause problems for anyone in that department.”
Being a weaker against Chimaev is a familiar place for “DDP”
Du Plessis’ nasty style and suspect Cardio has led fans to ruthlessly gamble against him over the years.
The perfect 9-0 within the Octagon, “DDP” is the winner of all but three of these victories, and his impending showdown with Chimaev is no exception.
