Nuggets vs Thunder Game 2 Preview

At the Paycom Center in Game 2 of Nuggets-Thunder, we weren’t surprised as we returned to Denver after a compelling victory from OKC.

The Thunder concluded Wednesday’s game at halftime. They scored 87 points during an unstoppable run. This marked a new NBA postseason record.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander certainly won in the MVP battle with Nikola Jokic in Game 2 as OKC got his first victory in the series.

Jokic recorded monster stats with 42 points, 22 rebounds and six assists in Game 1, but the three MVP managed just 17 points with a 17-point punk in Game 2.

The Serbs get caught up in foul trouble early in the third quarter and then get kicked out of Game 2 and if Denver wins Game 3 they have to play far better than their performance.

Russell Westbrook led all the scores for the Nuggets 19 points off the bench. The Nuggets gave up early on an impossible deficit, with only Jamal Murray and Jokic on the floor for over 30 minutes.

OKC’s bench provided much throughout the game with eight players reaching double the number in total.

The Nuggets have proven they can beat OKC and have the advantage back to Denver, despite OKC coming into the game as a 5.5-point favorite.
