The early, predicted elimination from the Los Angeles Lakers’ playoffs has thrown light on everyone, and Luka Donsic hasn’t tried to avoid it.

The challenges of Don Chic trade have become apparent to be seen for the Lakers. It’s the challenge of playing with Donsic, or the difficulty of playing without Anthony Davis.
Kevin Garnett has been trying to help the Lakers sort out the former by giving the Lakers a blueprint and praise the Lakers for their “perfect” treatment of Don Chick.
Despite striking and burning in flames, there is no denying that the Mavericks effectively ran the most successful NBA with Don Sic at the heart of everything.
They reached the NBA Finals in the 2023/24 season despite not being a favorite, and Donsic had a lot to do with their success.
But at the same time, what the Mavericks did for their players is often forgotten. This is in the spotlight now that the Lakers were unable to create a system around him to succeed.
Knowing one or two things about the winning championship, Kevin Garnett praised the Mavericks for doing “perfection” by Don Sic while he was there.

The Lakers front office is already anticipating changes and we need to see how Maverick has built the roster and went to see what works around Don Sic.
The strength of the Slovenian is his ability to surgically break down defenses, and he is prone to strange defensive lapses.
He also scrambles defenses with a drive that brings his midrange game to the forefront. So his teammate ideally has two skill sets.
They become sharp shooters who put the floor into space for him and leave him on the island along with the helpless defender.
Or, he’s tall and Rob’s threat, erasing the threat of the defender Rim to compensate for Donsic’s suspect’s border defense.
The Lakers were fine in the former, but were extremely scarce in the latter division despite not using the best shooters in a long time.
Once they fix it, it becomes clear that Doncic’s best will be seen again, and the questions surrounding the player disappear. He is still a generation of talent the Mavericks are groping.
They only used him better while they had him.
