After losing the opening game of the second round, the Minnesota Timberwolves bouncing off well against the Golden State Warriors.

Certainly, Dub plays without Stephen Curry, but it is still admirable to lead a team full of postseason veterans, 2-1.

In Game 3, Anthony Edwards was off with 36 points. He also added four rebounds and four assists to his name. However, Ali never forgot to give credit to one Timberwolves teammate for his excellent performance.

Julius Randle has gone from a heavily criticized player to an integral member of the Timberwolves in the 2025 NBA playoffs.

Randle showed his development in Game 3 as he scored a 24-point triple double in a 102-97 victory over the Warriors, according to his sofa score. After the game, Edwards praised his teammates.

“He was incredible. I found everyone on the cut. Find a guy who’s open again and again. Just push the pace. That’s what we asked him and he’s doing it at a high level,” Edwards said of Randle.

Randle was often considered one-dimensional with a main focus on scoring. However, Randle redefines this postseason as he also influences the game with his rebound and playmaking skills.

Edwards is the face of the franchise and is targeted for most nights of defense. As a result, there was an overwhelming game with Ali.

However, when someone like Randle gets off, Edwards can play his natural game. This is evident from Ali’s post-match entry to Randle’s impact on the game.

“We can’t ask for better things, man. I’m grateful to have him because he makes the game much easier for me,” Edwards added.

The only question is whether Randle can continue to influence the game with points, rebounds and playmaking.

If he could, it would be no surprise that the Timberwolves will quickly close out their second round series and perform in the Western Conference Finals in a row in the postseason.
