Former UFC welterweight champion Beral Muhammad suffered an absolute brutal injury during his defeat in the main event of UFC 315.
On Saturday night, Beral Muhammad failed to maintain the UFC welterweight championship. He went toe-toe with Jack Della Madarena in mostly impressive contests and he achieved some success in his wrestling, but JDM was able to control the pace of the fight and keep things on his own terms.
Furthermore, Della Maddalena transformed Beral Muhammad’s face into bloody confusion. UFC president Dana White has released an image of what he will look like in the aftermath of the match.

At this point, critics can no longer say that Beral Muhammad is a boring fighter – simply because it is not true. He did everything with his power to make that fight interesting, and when we entered the final moments of the contest he was still giving everything in the name of holding the belt all he had. He couldn’t do that, but he certainly has earned the respect of many fans who didn’t enjoy competing.
Now it’s all about seeing if he can bounce back from now on. He needs to recover from his injury and return to the drawings, but he is certainly talented enough to cause problems for most welterweights living in the top 10.
Beral left a part of himself in a Montreal cage, hopefully over the next few years people remember what he sacrificed when talking about his career with him.
