West Ham United are reportedly keen to sign Manchester City attacker James McAtee at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has been doing well in Manchester City despite limited opportunities this season. He has seven goals in his name in all competitions. According to a report from West Ham Zone’s Mirror, Hammer wants to sign players, and it is still unclear if they will be able to complete the transaction.
The 22-year-old needs regular games at this stage of his career, and West Ham regular football might be ideal for him. He wouldn’t want to sit on the Manchester City bench next season.
Exchange of Lucas Paketa?
The 22-year-old is versatile enough to act as an attacking midfielder and wide player. He adds targets and creativity to West Ham’s attacks.
Lucas Paketa is expected to leave the club at the end of the season, and West Ham will need to replace him properly. The British midfielder could be the ideal acquisition for them. He is also linked to clubs like Leeds United, and it remains to be seen where he will end.
