Draymond Green criticized his actions as the Golden State Warriors approached the playoff exit.

The Golden State Warriors’ 2025 NBA playoff run almost ended with a heartbreaking defeat for the team in Game 4.

Even though the Warriors finally managed to get past the 100-point hump, it wasn’t enough to overcome Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Warriors are currently facing a 3-1 deficit in the Western Conference semi-finals. However, veteran forward Draymond Green felt the need to clarify something else before dealing with the dub’s failure.

Green has a vocal leadership style that will help him win four NBA championships. However, at this point in his career, Draymond became more aggressive than being a quality leader on his team.

A perfect example of this was Green’s actions after the Dub’s game three losses as the 4x NBA champions skipped the post-game meeting.

Come to think of it, Greene dealt with his absence and made some harsh criticisms of himself with the media’s arrival after the loss of Game 4.

“Before I start, I want to apologise to y’all. I didn’t talk the other day. I’m pretty annoyed, very cautious, didn’t want to be fined, but it sounds like an excuse to say more,” Green said.

He added: “We struggle and lose. I came here and didn’t talk. When I got home I felt like a coward.

Without Stephen Curry in the courtroom, the Warriors seem to have lost a spark to compete in the series.

It is clear from the fact that the Warriors took to the fourth game of the series to score over 100 points in one matchup with the Timberwolves.

Nevertheless, Dub was handed a 117-110 defeat. Speaking of games, Green had relatively good performances compared to the last two contests.

He added 14 points, 7 rebounds and two assists. Green was still committed four fouls, but was better than being ejected like in Game 3.
