“Favorite Jokic”… Former star makes “the most valuable player in the NBA” about Jalen Branson after Knicks heroic

Jalen Brunson continues to cement his superstar status in the New York Knicks Eastern Conference semi-final series against the Boston Celtics.

Dynamic Point Guard delivered another masterclass in Game 4, achieving one sales in a 121-113 victory, pushing New York to the lead of the 3-1 series.

Jalen Brunson’s exceptional efficiency was fully on display as he fired 56% of his fierce fire from the field. His consistency throughout the series was amazing, with three games with over 25 points and five assists.

Former Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons did not hamper his praise for the Branson match during his recent appearance on the Run It Back Podcast.

“The NBA has better players who are more talented, appreciated, but I want to go to war with this guy. I want this guy on my own,” Parsons declared.

“He just keeps going to be moved. He keeps his head down and keeps doing what he’s doing. He’s very clutch, he’s fearless, he plays right, he plays at pace,” he explained.

“You can’t speed him up. You can’t have him put a big guy in his muscles because he’s so strong. You can’t put a little guy on him because he’s going to be a big boy. What he’s doing is really impressive.”

What puts Branson incredibly dangerous is his ability to counter defensive strategies. It’s too small to bully him, too late to lock him in, and too risky enough to make him double team with elite playmaking skills.

The former Villanova star discovered the perfect balance between scoring and distribution, becoming the perfect attack engine for the New York Knicks.

His amazing ball security – one sales in 39 minutes of Game 4 highlights his extraordinary decision-making under playoff pressure.

Parsons took his praise further, making a bold comparison between Branson’s value for the Knicks and the importance of Nicola Jokic to the Denver’s Nuggets.

“You can claim that he is the most valuable player in the NBA. How good is this team with him and, like a joke, how bad it is,” he explained.

The former NBA veteran highlighted how Branson became important to New York’s success.

Now, the Knicks have won one victory from their first Eastern Conference Finals appearance since 2000, and Branson’s incredible playoff performance has transformed them from an underrated acquisition to a legitimate NBA superstar.
