Liverpool tilted to sign a £45 million star that will make the rest of the league “trouble”

According to journalist Jonathan Northcroft of the Times, Liverpool is locked up in the signature of Hungarian left wing Milos Kerkez.

The Reds are keen to strengthen their team this summer to provide Arneslot with the best chance to defend their Premier League title next season.

The Reds are expected to be busy with the summer transfer window, with the club looking to add three more players to their team.

Liverpool signed priority on left back

One of the higher positions on the agenda at Anfield this summer is the left-back position.

Andy Robertson’s declined form is a source of great concern for Slots, and he is ready to address that issue this summer.

They’ve been linked to the Bournemouth Kerques movement for quite some time, and it looks like a deal will happen, and it’s only a matter of time.

Northcroft said in the Transfers Podcast:

“I think they’ll bring in Kerquez, and I’d be surprised if it didn’t happen in the rear left.

“It may be quite dependent on transactions you can do at the top of the pitch.

“Yeah, if they do them right, I think the rest of the league is in trouble.

Kerquez has attracted attention from some of the world’s biggest clubs with his performance this season.

While it is believed that people like Real Madrid and Manchester City are interested in Premier League defenders, it is Liverpool who is currently leading the race to sign him.

Kerquez’s potential arrival will not only add depth to Liverpool’s defense, but will also bring healthy competition in the left-back position.

Kerquez’s presence will ease the load on Robertson, where he is clearly not the same player a few seasons ago.

His adaptability and offensive style make him a perfect fit for Liverpool’s press game. This allows the fullback to not only defend themselves but also attack.

On the offensive front, the Reds are interested in the moves of Atalanta’s Adamoral Lookman.
