New York Knicks star Jalen Branson won the hearts of NBA fans with class acts after winning Game 4.
The Boston Celtics entered Game 4 in the Eastern Conference semi-finals with a 2-1 deficit against the New York Knicks.
Many hoped that the Celtics would level the series, and as it was worth it, Jason Tatum did it all with his power to reach his goal.
However, the 2024 NBA champion seemed to push himself too much when he finished the game due to what appears to be a horrifying Achilles injury.
Jalen Brunson led The Knicks’ 121-113 victory with 39 points, five rebounds and 12 assists. Fans loved Branson’s heroes on the court, but they were even more impressed by what they did after the game.
“I’m sorry, but I just want to send a prayer to JT. I want to say that first and foremost. I think and pray with him. I just pray for the best,” Branson told the media.
Brunson’s short message to Tatum has earned him a huge praise from X’s NBA community.
One fan wrote: “That’s the look of the class.” Another thing has been added, but “The class acts as if it gets… Jeter-style.”
“Love it. I pray for JT. No one wants to see an injury,” Fan said.
One Celtics fan wrote:
“Jalen Brunson is very clutch and very classy. I love this guy so much. I hope they meet the Indiana Pacers in the conference final,” fans shared his wish.
“What a great role model for the kids. I’m already sculpting this guy,” Knicks fans said.
The Celtics and Knicks have a long NBA history, but some things are on top of the game of basketball. Tatum’s injuries were one of them, and true basketball fans appreciated Branson’s kind gestures.
Tatum, the face of the Celtics, received great criticism for the team’s overwhelming performance against the Knicks.
JT was called for not being able to lead the team. However, Tatum was playing a sensational game at Madison Square Garden.
Before finishing the game, Tatum already had 42 points, 8 rebounds and four assists in his name. In addition to that, the Celtic Star also had four steels and two blocks.
He did it all while shooting 57.1% off the field. It’s sad to see Tatum’s incredible game undergo such a tragic outcome.
