According to Football Insider, Arsenal has identified sports CP striker Viktor Gyoker as his key target for the upcoming summer transfer period.
Despite previous reports suggesting Manchester United are approaching to securing Gyoker’s signature, Arsenal is now believed to be running through the race to sign the striker.
Gunners are desperately searching for additional attacking players to their team after not ending the trophy drought again this summer.
In the Premier League title race, they lost to Liverpool’s side of Earnslot in the Champions League semi-finals.
Arsenal has no fatality in advance
It was another season that showed the lack of the threat of a team’s proper goal scorer.
The Gunners struggled to score goals as Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus suffered long-term injuries, but despite all the issues, Mikel Merino worked well when he became a makeshift attacker.
The club’s new sports director, Andrea Berta, is reportedly a strong supporter of Gyoker’s signature, and sees him as a player who can make a difference to the gunners.
Gyokeres enjoys an incredible season with Sports CP, scoring 52 goals and offering 13 assists in all competitions.
The gunners can sign an attacker for £60 million, but that shouldn’t be a problem for them.
Man United is also interested in Gyoker
The only obstacle they face when signing Swedish international attackers is the interest from their rivals, Manchester United.
Reuben Amorim has a strong bond with his attackers due to his work relationships in Sports CP. Portuguese managers can persuade attackers to refuse gunners in favor of their move to Old Trafford.
The North London side has also expressed interest in signing Newcastle United attacker Alexander Isaac, but it remains to be seen whether they can afford his large price tag.
