All of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) are set to face a major blow ahead of the resumption of India’s Premier League (IPL) 2025.
The report argued that bowling coach Shane Bond is very unlikely to return to India in the last two games of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. It is also not clear whether West Indies’ national cricket team batter Shimronhetmeyer will return to the final two games.

After IPL 2025 was suspended due to a war-like situation between India and Pakistan, foreign players from all IPL teams went home. The tension between the nations also had a major impact on the 18th edition of the league.
BCCI was forced to pause IPL 2025 after PBKS vs DC game stopped in the middle
The match between the Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals stopped in the middle after Pakistan launched its attack in the Patankot region, about 80 km from Dharamsala Stadium. All players evacuated from the stadium along with the fans.
Following this, the BCCI was forced to suspend the IPL, and foreign players were also returning home. The overseas players were safely sent back by the governing body, but now it could cost them as the league is all set up to resume.
IPL 2025 will be performed at six venues: Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai and Ahmedabad
After the ceasefire, BCCI released the revised schedule for IPL 2025. All leagues are scheduled to resume from May 17th in a clash between royal challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The final will be held on June 3rd.
The rest of the IPL will be played in six venues, as BCCI doesn’t want to take unnecessary risks. Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai and Ahmedabad are expected to have the remaining 17 games of the tournament, with the playoffs expected to take place in Ahmedabad and Mumbai.

Coming to the royal family of Rajasthan, they were eliminated from IPL 2025. The Sanju Samsung-led side was very poor with the bat and ball as they lost a very close game and are currently upset at the bottom half of the points table.
The Royals of Rajasthan have played 12 games in IPL 2025 so far, winning in just three games. They are keen to finish the tournament at a high price as there are only two games left for them. When they face the Punjab King on May 18th, they will act next.
