According to journalist Rudy Garretti, West Ham United are interested in the moves of Inter Milan’s German centre back Jan Bisek.
The 24-year-old defender notes that he contributed to their impressive Champions League campaign after an impressive season at Inter.
The defenders helped the Serie A Giants reach the final of the Champions League this season.
West Ham needs a reliable defender
Hammer previously faced challenges in ensuring a consistent central defensive partnership, and the addition of Bisek could provide the stability and quality needed.
West Ham has a previous bid of 30 million euros against Bisek, which was rejected by Inter, showing the ratings of players at the Italian club.
Intel Milan is reportedly open to debate if substantive offers come true, recognising Bisek’s contribution.
Sources suggest that a regional bid of 55 million euros (£46.8 million) could be sufficient to seduce the Serie A giant into negotiations.
However, this may be subject to the conclusion of Inter’s participation in the Club World Cup, which is scheduled to end in mid-July.
West Ham faces competition from other Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United. Both show interest in Bisek.
Tottenham stands in West Ham’s way
In particular, Tottenham is investigating defensive reinforcements for Christian Romero’s uncertain future this summer.
Hammer will sign the Inter Milan Star against his Premier League rival, but if Graham Potter can pull it apart, it would be a massive coup for his team.
As far as creative additions go, West Ham is about to sign James McAtee of Manchester City.
When it comes to players who can leave the club after this season, Mohamed Kudus has always been connected to travelling from the club.
