Arsenal reportedly sees the two exciting young talents in the form of Juan Guimenez and Victor Valdepenas.
That’s what Borussia Dortmund also said is interested in Gimenes, according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
Arsenal has a history of signing up to the top young players and appears to be ready to try again for these two talents as future signatures.
More details on this latest Arsenal news from Plettenberg have been posted on X via its official account.
They are not the biggest names of football in the world, but Gimenez makes a considerable impression at Rosario Central and at the youth level in Argentina.
Meanwhile, Valdepenas is at the academy in Real Madrid, so even if he has great potential, you may find him struggling to break into the first star-studded team.
Arsenal needs to be good at selling for profit
Arsenal has done some good recruiting in recent years, spending a lot of money on top talent such as Declan Rice, Julian Timber, David Raya, Kai Herberts and Ricardo Calfioli.
Still, there’s certainly room for the North London giants to make a bit more money from selling players.
Clubs like Brighton have become masters selling significantly more young players than they paid, as even larger teams like Chelsea and Manchester United seem to be trying to copy this model.
This is important in the age of ever-stricken financial fair play law, so Arsenal is good for cheap investments in players like Gimenez and Valde Penas before cashing out later.
Of course, Arsenal fans also hope that such players will become a number of important first team players to contribute to the success of the side in the coming years.
