According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, Inter Milan is reportedly considering the move by Manchester United’s Joshu Azilkie and is investigating the possibility of a loan agreement with the purchase option.

The 23-year-old Dutch striker has struggled to make a big impact at Old Trafford since his 40 million euro transfer from Bologna last summer, scoring just seven goals in all competitions.

This is one of the reasons why Man United struggled so hard this season in the Premier League.

Their lack of threat is one of the main reasons behind their poor leagues, due to the poor performance of Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund.

Inter Milan Wants Man United Flop

Despite his overwhelming debut season in the Premier League, Inter sees Zirkzee’s technical skills and versatility potential and believes he can complement his offensive lineup alongside Lautaro Martínez and Marcus Thuram.

Inter’s proposed transactions include initial loans with purchase options. This may become mandatory under certain conditions.

Zirkzee’s previous success with the Serie A has added to his appeal to Inter, scoring 14 goals in Bologna’s 53 appearances.

Return to Italy can provide the striker with the opportunity to rediscover his form and contribute significantly to Inter’s ambitions in domestic and European competitions.

It remains to be seen whether United lost patience at Zilkie after only one season at Old Trafford.

The Dutch attacker was signed by Eric Ten Hag, former manager of Old Trafford, but even Reuben Amorim couldn’t make the most of him.

It’s hard to see Zirkzee create his place in the starting lineup next season as United are looking for new options in the market in the shape of Ipswich town attackers Liam Dellup and wolf star Matthew Cunya.

Once Reuben Amorim decided to transfer, Man United decided to make two major moves.
