Arsenal returned 1-0 with Larry Guns Valencia to earn a 2-1 victory in the Champions League quarterfinals.

Thierry Henry leveled the score in the 58th minute, and Ray Parler took a fierce strike from the distance two minutes later, moving the people of North London ahead.

Unfortunately, in the second game, after a 1-0 victory at Mestara, the Spanish side advanced with a separate goal.

Valencia reached the final before he caused a heartbreaking defeat to Bayern Munich on a penalty.

Dennis Bergkamp also played his first away game in Europe in two years.

2013/14: Arsenal 2-0 Napoli

MesutÖzil really arrives

In the summer of 2013, Arsenal erased the transfer records and signed Real Madrid playmaker MesutÖzil for a whopping £42.4 million.

Germany’s first goal at Arsenal Colour was the opening match of the Champions League against Napoli, where he beautifully loved his efforts with feet on the sides from the inside of the box.

Özil scored seven goals while taking 14 assists in his debut campaign in North London, so it’s not bad…

2024/25: PSV 1-7 Arsenal

Gunner enjoys another great night in Eindhoven

Arsenal’s participation in the improved Champions League group phase meant the final 16 tie with PSV on the way to seal their own knockout stage berth by beating Liverpool and Juventus.

However, those hoping for a close game were quickly disappointed as the gunners left the block to lead 3-0 within 31 minutes.

Arsenal took his feet off the gas in the second half, and formalized the second match by surpassing the opponent four more times. It was their biggest victory in the Champions League.

Gunners turn on style against Slavia

Wenger’s men totally dominated the Czech opponents as they recorded the club’s biggest Champions League victory of all time. The fluidity of the play was a joy to see, and some of the goals scored were out of this world.

Gunner came second to Sevilla in the group that year, reaching the final eight competitions before a 5-3 aggregate loss by Liverpool. A cruel exit for North Londoners.

2005/06: Arsenal 0-0 Real Madrid

Gunners hold the real thing in Highberry and get a total epic victory

After sealing off a historic 1-0 victory at the Santiago Bernabéu, Arsenal had to dodge Real Madrid with his own patch in 2006 to seal the quarter-finals location.

In an even game, the gunners held Thierry Henry Mesmeric as ever, as Arsene Wenger’s team hugged, once again holding themselves against fantasy enemies.

Madrid came closest when Raul was so denied by Jens Lehman on his mercy goal.
