Former UFC champions Hollyholmsign and Jake Paul return to boxing ring on June 28th

Holly Holm is back in the world of boxing.

On Wednesday, the former UFC Bantamweight champion signed with Jake Paul’s most valuable promotion and announced he’ll return to the official ring on June 28th.

“I’m excited to partner with the most valuable promotions and return to boxing rings,” Holm said in a press release Wednesday. “This new chapter is going to be an exciting journey and I look forward to the challenge.. I’m back in boxing. I spent most of my MMA career at 135 pounds and now I have the opportunity to make my boxing debut with that weight. Using three high-weight class boxing titles under my belt, I would like to pursue a fourth title in the new category. ”

Holm will face Yolanda Vega (10-9) as part of the undercard between Jake Paul vs. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. inside the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, marking his first mark in the boxing ring when he was the first IBF and WBF World Champion in the boxing ring since May 2013. She also hosted WBAN, WBC, NABF, GBU, WBA, Ifba, and Wiba Gold throughout her career. In 2022, she was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

Holm is perhaps best known for winning one of the biggest, if not the biggest, in UFC history in November 2015, ending Rousey’s dominant run in the Bantamweight category and winning his first UFC title.

Along the way, she faced some of the biggest names in women’s MMA history, including former and current world champions such as Misha Tate, Valentina Shevchenko, Chris Cyborg, Amanda Nunes, Raquel Pennington, and Kayla Harrison.
