“Never there” – Journalist offers optimistic Chelsea transfer updates

3 Min Read

According to journalist Simon Phillips, Chelsea is “still there” due to the potential relocation of Napoli striker Victor Osimen.

Currently available for loan from Naples in Galatasaray, Nigeria International has long been linking with blues and other big clubs around Europe.

Ultimately, when he joined Galatasaray on loan last summer, it was very surprising.

Still, Osimhen certainly won’t stay in Galatasaray forever. It looks like Chelsea is back now as the 26-year-old.

Phillips also mentions the targets of other strikers, but it appears that interest in Osimhen has not disappeared, and players are also keen to move to Stamford Bridge.

What’s the latest from Victor Osimhen to Chelsea?

Regarding the latest information on searching for new Chelsea strikers, Phillips said: SPTC Source This week, I’ve heard that Chelsea is “still there” for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

“The player has always been keen to join Chelsea regardless of Champions League football, and he is still enthusiastic. His contracts were hard work last summer, and our belief from insiders is that his wage demands are not astronomical as the media portrays.

“Chelsea can easily return to trading, and our sources believe it’s not that difficult to reach an agreement.”

He added: “But in reality there are few options, especially options that truly enhance and improve what we want.

“Liam Dellup is still there. Benjamin Sesco is still there. Like I said, I’ve been hearing more and more about him this week. I believe he’s the real option right now. Hugo Ekitique is still there.

“But those players are still there for the other clubs as well.”

Victor Osimhen is perfect for your Chelsea needs

Chelsea need a new striker after the lack of Nicholas Jackson’s influence, but Christopher Nukank has been quite disappointing for much of his time in West London.

In contrast, Osimhen is certain to be one of the most prolific center forwards in the world for the past few years.

The former Lille man has scored 35 goals in 39 matches in all competitions this season, following from 48 in his final two seasons at Napoli.
