Arsenal reportedly sees a potential transfer move for Las Palmas defender Mika Marmol this summer.
The gunner can possibly embrace the depths of his defense amid uncertainty about players who are not regulars on Mikel Arteta’s side.
Marmol can play center back and left back, which could be a useful signature if players like Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jakub Kiwior, and Takehiro Tomiyasu end up moving forward.
According to Spanish outlet Fichejjes, it is not currently clear whether all three of the mentioned names will leave, but it appears that Marmol is on Arsenal’s radar anyway.
The 23-year-old is a great young talent that has come out through the Barcelona academy before and imagines he will soon be able to return to a big club.
Mika Marmol to Arsenal looks like someone to watch this summer
Malmol may also make sense as an opportunity for Arsenal at this point, due to the fact that Las Palmas has just been demoted from LaLiga.
That certainly means they find it difficult to hold their key players like Marmol, but Fichejes’ report also claims that Arsenal is interested in other players in the form of Alberto Moreiro.
Even if Las Palmas finally goes down, Marmol is widely recognized as impressed by the club this season, so he looks like a solid option that the AFC and other big names should consider.
