Kendrick Perkins believes the supportive cast of the Nuggets has stepped up in Game 6.

The Denver Nuggets refuse to quit as they returned to tie the series with the Oklahoma City Thunder in three games.

The two are currently set to compete in the crucial game 7 on Sunday afternoon. Game 6 was a great watch for Nuggets fans as the team performed incredible ways.

Aaron Gordon is concerned about Aaron Gordon, who walked away with his hamstring clenched. His presence in this series was so important that it would be a big blow to Gordon missing the game.

But perhaps the Nugget has other stars that can fill that gap. The two stars in particular received many praise from Kendrick Perkins.

Kendrick Perkins appeared at SportsCenter after Game 6 between Nuggets and Thunder. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray played great, but Perkins praised the role.

In particular, he identified how Christian Brown and Julian Stroser stepped up both the offensive and defensive ends of the court.

“They got physically all over the place…it was something else. You know, role players play better at home.

“Not only the points they scored, but their second effort will attack offensive glass, attacking defensively and offensively.”

“We came this postseason and saw another Denver Nuggets team, one of the worst defensive teams. Suddenly, we looked deep on them on that hard court.”

The Denver Nuggets fought bravely, giving them the opportunity to reach the NBA Finals. Now towards Game 7, they need to perform for a lifetime.

The nugget’s roster is talented and has one of the greatest players in history, but faces the Juggernaut OKC team with the highest record in the NBA.

What’s good for the Denver Nuggets is that they actually went through the ordeal of Game 7 and defeated the Clippers in the first round.

However, this OKC team is far better than the Clippers. And they don’t have the home court advantage like last time. But if they bring the right mind, they have a chance to defeat the lightning.
