Toprak Razgatlioglu “All Action Ready” at Czech Worldsbk

Ruler World Sub Champion Top Lac Lazgatrioguru suggests that his previous form in the Autodrom is irrelevant in this weekend’s Czech Round, but his aim is to win regardless.

Razgatlioglu will be second on the weekend with a 34-point position at Nicolo Brega after the Italian bagged the second world superbike treble of the season at Cremona two weeks ago.

As a result, Razgatlioglu will need to keep pressure on the Italians down this weekend by reducing Bulega’s lead.

“My goal is three wins this weekend,” Razgatlioglu told Worldsbk.com ahead of this weekend’s Czech Round.

“But the weather looks a few days so it’s a bit difficult (it could rain).

“But anyway, I’m ready for everything. I’m just waiting for the weekend.”

Razgatlioglu has at most eight wins at World SBK from 12 races. Three of the other four races he finished second, in Race 2, 2023, he crashed due to a tire breakdown.

Pirelli is also in the heart of Razgatlioglu this weekend. So, considering one of the two most demanding trucks in World Superbike tires, this weekend there will be an unusually hard distribution with only SCX rear tires, standard SC0, development SC0, and development SC1.

“I love this circuit and we’re usually very strong (here) happy,” Razgatlioglu said.

“But this year isn’t like last year, everything is different.

“Friday is very important. We use SC1 rear tires so we need a race-friendly setup so we hope it feels good on the bike.

“We had a very good weekend last year. I hope this weekend we’re fighting for victory.”

Finally, fuel flow restrictions were adjusted prior to the Czech round. As before, this change only affects BMW and Ducati.

“I’m really tired of following the new rules,” Razgatrioglu said.

“I don’t care. I’m just focused on my work (when I saw the change), I was just laughing.

“But anyway, the rules are rules. I’m really tired this year, so I’m focusing on my work.”
