One example of this is their reported arms dispute over whether to move to RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesco or Sports CP Viktor Gyoker, but Arteta asserts that the pair will have a productive partnership.
“Very good, they’re two very completely different personalities, characters, backgrounds,” said Arteta about the difference between Berta and Edu.
“But he is a very ambitious and very clear person with his ideas, his vision and the way we want to achieve it, and he is very supportive of everything that has been done here.
“The team we have, the players and staff we have, and he’s ready to make us better, which is why we chose to have him with us.”
When asked if the manager and Berta were working on the same page regarding Arsenal’s transfers, Arteta replied, “About what we have to do, yes.”
The Gunners boss has his own ideas on how to improve his team, and he will work in parallel with Berta next season ahead of the more fruitful Premier League title challenge.

Athletic Bilbao’s offensive midfield sensation Oyhan Sunset has attracted the personal attention of tacticians, according to reports from Spain.
The Spaniard has marked himself as one of Ernesto Valverde’s outstanding stars, scoring 17 goals in all competitions, and Arsenal is one of a handful of teams that view him as a serious option.
Currently, Arteta is considered personally keen on the Arsenal move at Sunset. Sunset could leave Bilbao due to the value of the £67 million release clause, and considers the 25-year-old as the “ideal link” for the midfield and forward line.
Man United and Aston Villa are also interested in the moves of Spanish midfielders, so a move to the Premier League seems to be an option.
Given the exceptional form of Sunset, it goes without saying that Nico Williams could be lost this summer. Bilbao believes it is very unlikely that Sunset will leave to a much lesser extent than his clause.
