Dana White shuts down rumours of Conor McGregor’s UFC return: “He’s not fighting anytime soon.”

UFC CEO Dana White has once again shut down rumors that former two-weight champion Conor McGregor might return to action.

Former lightweight champion and promotional featherweight gold holder McGregor couldn’t do anything good with a hiatus return last summer.

And soon approaching a four-year layoff in July, McGregor was scheduled to headline UFC 303 in the headline of the international fight week with Michael Chandler in Welterweight restrictions last June.

However, McGregor, who retreated from the pairing by quoting his broken toe, is at that point reverting to the battle for his respect.

To boot this year, the veteran striker has plans to emerge in the political world of Ireland’s home republic, claiming he is “happy” with how his career in combat sports unfolded.

“We have two fights on the contract, we’re in negotiations,” Conor McGregor said. “Something happened to me last week, I went to the White House and my mind just bleed for my country. So there’s a lot of stuff going back to my house. I’m happy with what I did. There’s something else in my gut.

As mentioned earlier, fans who maintain a pair of fights on the current UFC deal should be hoping for a comeback fight for Dublin soon, according to promotional leader White.

“He’s not going to fight (Connor McGregor) any time soon,” Dana White told Adam Glyn this week. “I wasn’t talking to him right away.”

Since 2021, McGregor has recently led to a second consecutive loss in the form of a trilogy rubber match loss to longtime rival Dustin Poirier.
