In games 4 and 5, Denver led multiple ownership late in the fourth quarter, but blew both games out. The Nuggets took a 90-82 lead and finished fourth in Game 6. However, the team won 119-107. Denver forced Game 7 on Sunday afternoon. MVP finalists Nikola Jokic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander fight to send their teams to the conference finals.

The Nugget was eliminated Thursday night after facing the Thunder in Game 6 on Thursday night. Denver took the second half of the game in the fourth quarter of games 4 and 5. They were at least eight points ahead in the fourth quarter of both games. This time, the Nugget was able to lean against the championship DNA and close Game 6 at home. Thursday’s victory saved Denver’s season and forced Game 7 on Sunday.
Nikola Jokic played a team-high 41 minutes in Game 6. He finished with 29 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists, two steels and one block. Jokic was 9-14 from the field and 10-12 from the free throw line. The MVP finalist had no intention of putting his team on Game 6. Shy Gilgauss Alexander is another MVP finalist of the season. He scored 32 points in Game 6.
Denver’s victory in Game 6 forced Game 7 on Sunday. When the Nuggets return to Oklahoma City, the series is tied to 3-3. They are 1-2 on the road with nuggets this postseason. Expect to see Nikola Jokic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dominate Game 7. The team’s season that lost on Sunday is over. Denver is on the road to face lightning, which should be an interesting matchup.
