Arsenal is preparing for a major overhaul in the upcoming summer transfer period, with plans to invest heavily in strengthening the team.

Following another season without silverware, the club’s hierarchy is determined to back up manager Mikel Arteta in building a team that can challenge the highest honors.

Gunner is likely to finish again as runner-up in the Premier League this season.

As Arteta is about to make some big moves this summer, the club is ready to give him the resources to add fire to offense and quality in the middle.

Arteta is given a big budget

Journalist Ben Jacobs reports that gunners are expected to spend more than £250 million this summer.

While speaking on Curtis Shaw’s TV, he said:

“Net spending is more important, but if there’s a dropout, you can balance your spending, but looking at what they do towards the relocation, it could be in a £250 million or £300 million area. It’s going to be a busy and exciting summer.”
