Even Draymond Green had to praise Chris Finch and Rudy Goatbert for his excellent play against the Golden State Warriors.
Rudy Gobert is an epic player, especially on the defensive side of the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has an unfortunate reputation as a bad offensive player. Conflict teams always want to exploit his weaknesses, like his slow legs and limited offensive skill set.
The Golden State Warriors were ready to do it in the second round, but Chris Finch was ready. Draymond Green knew he could win a matchup, but Gobert gave an incredible performance. This showed greenery in honor of Gobert, Finch and The Timberwolves.
Gobert’s size was a critical factor for the Timberwolves in this series. The Warriors tried to match up with Kevon Rooney, but Goat was way too many in the rebound fight. The screen he set up was also amazing. The pick-and-roll dynamics with Anthony Edwards were impressive.
Greene praised Gobert for his play in the series incredible. It was amazing because Green and Goat have always been clashing with each other. The Frenchman’s performance is praiseworthy as he surpassed all expectations.
“Their game plan was to push three people out of the game and, as adults, such a big trend, see the ball go to the rim.
“It’s up to you to find a way to put him in place to use his strengths to succeed. They did an incredible job in this series.”
This proves that Chris Finch’s game plan is spectacular. Because he knew what the Warriors were trying to do. Gortbert had a quiet series up to close out game 5 against the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round.
Minnesota is the first team in the Western Conference Finals. The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Denver Nuggets have Game 7, so they’re waiting for their opponents. It waits a long time for the Timberwolves, but it will give Finch more time.
The Timberwolves may have lost Game 1 to the Warriors, but they weren’t confused. They were well aware of what the Warriors could do, mainly in preparation for the Finch. Minnesota won Game 1 loss on the jaws, winning the next four games and winning the series.
Anthony Edwards was clearly outstanding, but Julius Randle was also incredible. The duo played their best basketball this postseason. However, the rest of the team, including Gobert, are ready to help.
Finch did an amazing job motivating the players. They are all ready to prove they are the best team in the West as they wait for their matchups. Gobert will once again play a key role, but Finch already thinks.
