Jack Miller finds himself once again in a situation where he has to win his next MotoGP contract.
However, unlike last year, when it lost its position at KTM last year, Miller is in good shape for Pramac Yamaha.
He was turned down by a satellite team that had switched from Ducati to Yamaha on a one-year contract that expires at the end of 2025.
A P5 finish at the Grand Prix on the Americas circuit was an early reminder of Miller’s abilities.
However, as Yamaha’s competitiveness grows, interest from other Miller’s bike riders also grows.
Jack Miller’s Pramac Yamaha is looking forward to 2026

Pramac Yamaha team boss Gino Borsoi was asked about the MotoGP rider market next year.
“Yes, I hope it’s attractive,” he told MotoSprint.
“I have the necessary explanations left, and I’m not interested in opening up the market because I’m doing a great job with today’s riders.
“Jack Miller is on track, and Miguel Oliveira hasn’t had the opportunity to express his performance.
“It would be wrong to talk about the market and change. Jack and Miguel can continue with us next year.”
Pramac Yamaha’s interest in Enea Bastianini was controversial by reports from the Italian press, but the team claims to be “cautious” in the rider market.
Miller and Oliveira crashed from France’s MotoGP last weekend, but that’s not a complete story.
Qualified eighth, Miller gambled with a wet tire strategy, but later proved right.
He was unfortunately ahead of winner Johann Zarko when he crashed.
“It takes time for the fruit to bloom,” Bolsoy said before Motog, France.
“We knew about this, but I have to say that the start of 2025 was pretty good. Jack Miller had a really interesting race, but something didn’t work out at Geres. But I have to point out: The Australians were competitive there too.
But Pramac Yamaha knows where they are.
“No, we’re not here to see the conditions for the podium results,” Bolsoy said.
“We’re helping Yamaha, we know we shouldn’t even mention anything short-term.
“I hope in a few years, I have the opportunity to compete for the top position.
“We know what we have to do. We work to improve the performance of our M1.”
Factory Yamaha rider Fabio Quartalaro claimed pole position in a sprint at Le Mans last weekend, proving that Pramac’s support in developing the project is driving them.
The experience Miller brings is also important as a former rider for MotoGP Honda, Ducati and KTM, and his ability to develop the package.
He remains for now without a contract next year.
