Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James shared an Instagram post ahead of Caitlyn Clark’s sophomore debut.
The WNBA’s popularity is now a huge boom as the 2025 season began recently.
Speaking of which, no one can deny the influence of Iowa graduate Caitlyn Clark on women’s basketball on the world stage.
After an incredible rookie year with Indiana Fever, Clark began his sophomore season with the much-anticipated matchup against Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky.
Despite playing only one WNBA season, Clark has already established himself as one of the faces of the WNBA. Clearly, Clark has also received great acclaim from NBA superstars.
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has always been a big fan of young talent, and King did the same for Clark ahead of his season debut.
“Good luck. This season is always the case!” James wrote in his latest Instagram post.
Being backed by the face of the NBA is not a small deal, and Clark understands that. It didn’t take her time to respond to James’ message.
“The best ever. Thank you,” Clark commented, welcoming James the Goat.
The Fever vs Sky Matchup was glued to the screens with basketball fans as Clark and Reese were trapped in the first fight of the season.
Two stars got into an argument during the game, but it was clear that CC is a notch above the lease in terms of basketball ability.
Clark finished the night with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, and Fever scored a massive 93-58 victory to start the season.
Meanwhile, Reese had 12 points and 17 rebounds, but she shot an overwhelming 35.7% off the field.
