Manchester United were interested in signing Brentford attacker Brian Mbemo at the end of the season and submitted an offer to sign him.
According to Fichajes, they submitted an offer of £55 million to sign the 25-year-old Cameroon International.
He is undoubtedly one of the best attackers in the Premier League and he has been outstanding for the bees this season. Arsenal is also enthusiastic about players.
Man United need Brian Mbeumo
The attackers have made 28 target contributions in all competitions, and could prove to be an exceptional acquisition of Manchester United. They need to bring upgrades to players like Antony, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford. All three players are currently on loan and are expected to leave the club forever.
Manchester United need a wide range of players who can regularly put their goals and creativity into place. Mbeumo is drawn to the idea of joining a big club. This move is ideal for all parties. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can convince Brentford to sell the player.
They could face competition from clubs like Newcastle United.
Players may be keen on new challenges
Mbeumo is highly regarded nationwide, with Brentford manager Thomas Frank recently labeling him as a “incredible” player. It is still unclear if they are ready to sell key players in the summer.
Mbeumo is certainly attracted to the idea of joining a bigger club and he will want to fight for the trophy. This may be a good time for him to make a difference and raise new challenges.
Manchester United is one of the largest clubs in the world, and it would be difficult to refuse the opportunity to join them. It is still unclear how things will develop over the next few weeks.
