West Ham United signed Nikola Vlasic of CSKA Moscow in 2021, but they have not yet cleared their transfer payments.
Hammer has agreed to a £26 million contract to sign Croatian international striker, but CSKA CEO Roman Babayev revealed that West Ham has not yet completed payments for the transfer.
Hammer owes an additional £13.5 million to the Russian giant. He is a 27-year-old player at the Italian club Torino.

The Russian outfit is approaching the arbitration court of sports on payments, but the ruling has receved, and the two clubs have not been able to compromise until now.
“This incident has been postponed again. We’re literally waiting for a month,” Babayev told Tas. “We hope we get a decision in the end (soon). West Ham is not communicating with us.
“They ignore us.”
The CEO of CSKA revealed that he is targeting a meeting with West Ham later this month. It will be interesting to see if the two parties can compromise in the coming weeks.
“There is no decision from the CAS yet,” Babayev said. “We’re targeting the end of May for a meeting with West Ham.”
Hammer transfer prohibited?
Meanwhile, Sport Ru reports that if they do not complete payments for an unpaid transfer by July 31, they can hand West Ham a ban on transfers.
West Ham would certainly want to avoid such a situation. They need to improve their teams during the summer transfer period, and banning players from signing could be a devastating blow to them. It’s a disappointing season for them, and they need to sign quality players to bounce back hard.
It remains to be seen whether the situation with CSKA Moscow will be resolved in the coming weeks.
