The Golden State Warriors have told them to trade for All-Star Guards to upgrade Posiemski, he can become “Stef Curry 2.0”

The Golden State Warriors season ended abruptly after losing the team 4-1 in the Western Conference semi-finals.

There was a bittersweet feeling at the end of the Golden State Warriors season after superstar Stephen Curry suffered a hamstring injury in Game 1 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Warriors didn’t provide this brilliantly as an excuse for the exit, but it was clear to see how Curry’s injuries affected the series’ competitiveness.

There’s no longer time for Curry and the Warriors to win the fifth title, and the 37-year-old superstar has admitted that the team’s window has been closed.

The Warriors will be making moves this offseason, but it’s still unclear whether these will be a big swing or tweak the roster.

Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas believes the answer for the Golden State Warriors is to make a deal for the Atlanta Hawks and Star Tray Young.

Arenas claims that Trae Young is an upgrade to the Brandin Podziemski on the Warriors system, and says it will put Steph Curry even more dangerous.

He believes pairings could have a devastating effect, and the Warriors are preparing for the future by landing a player 11 years younger than Curry.

The former player told Gill’s arena:

“You’ve already played Podziemski and Curry. I rather have a real point guard and a real point guard that can be both.

“He can pass and he can get a score where he can see Steph. They have two there two in the same shooting pen, you’ll have team hell.

“If you can package someone… you have Steph 2.0 with Trae Young, because Steph is there, that backcoat could average 50.”

Trae Young led the Atlanta Hawks to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2021, but the team hasn’t come close since.

The Hawks have concluded their frustrating campaign by falling into play-in tournaments this past season. This led to speculation about Trae Young’s future despite the superstar publicly claiming his commitment to stay in Atlanta.

Past season figures show that while both Steph Curry and Trae Young averaged 24 points per game, the Hawks star was prolific in terms of assists.

Young averaged a double double with 11.6 assists above the points, registering 51 double doubles in 76 games.

The Warriors package to seduce the Hawks could involve Jonathan Kuminga and Brandin Posiemsky being used in trades moving in opposite directions.

Seeing a young man in Warriors’ colours would also present a fresh challenge to him, even if he doesn’t currently accept such seduction.
