Veteran manager Ali Abderaziz has made a surprising clarity that reveals the potential battle between his client and longtime friends Islam Makhachev and Kamal Usman in the near future, especially if he wins his next matchup.

Makhachev, who will make his welterweight debut later this year, will open the uncontroversial lightweight crown at UFC 317 at the end of International Combat Week next month.

And with the aim of creating a welterweight bow against new champion Russian star Jack Della Maladena, Makhachev will see formerly full Charles Oliveira take his bitter foe Ilia Topria for the impending championship.

As for USMAN, former welterweight Kingpin and pound pound number one will also be the long-awaited action at UFC Fight Night Atlanta next month.

Ali Abdalaziz plays the title fight for Islam Makhachev, Kamal Usman

According to Abderaziz, Usman can win the wish by winning Buckley, wanting to push the final title push before pulling up the gloves.

“He’s the best welterweight ever,” Ali Abderaziz told Usman’s MMA Junkie. “He’s Dana White’s favorite fighter. Dana loves Kamal Usman. Likewise, they have a very unique relationship. Listen, Kamal is one of the biggest names in the department.

“What do you guess? Kamal wins, Islam Makhachev wins, they want to fight, I’m going to stay home, watch from home. You can see this battle going on too.
