Liverpool is reportedly a favorite of Chelsea today, signing one of Europe’s most informed strikers this summer.

The player in question is Entracht’s Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitique. He is expected to be “expensive” after a great season, which contributed 22 goals and 11 assists in all competitions.

That said, Simon Phillips said Chelsea has seen many other strikers, including Liam Dellup and Ekitique.

However, he reports that the French are considered to be highly likely to join Liverpool at this time.

Ekitice may have floped to Paris Saint-Germain early in his career, but he has returned to his best in his time in the Bundesliga, and for him a big move seems inevitable.

Watching Ekitique in the Premier League is certainly exciting and I imagine it could have a very positive impact in Liverpool and Chelsea.

The Reds need someone like Ekitique as an upgrade to Darwin Nunes, but Chelsea ultimately gives up on Nicholas Jackson and finds a more reliable finisher.

Liverpool’s strong summer start

If Liverpool also ends up signing Ekitique, it will be shaped to become an immeasurable transfer window at Anfield.

According to Sky Sports and others, even if Trent Alexander Arnold departs for free, Jeremy Fripon’s arrival appears imminent, but Milos Kerkes is also lined up.

These two are great fullbacks for the LFC, and Ekitike could be ideal to pose more target threats for them at the center.
