The Premier League is the world’s most popular league and has seen some of the best players ever since its founding in 1992, but Liverpool legend Stephen Gerrard once claimed there was only one Premier League “Goat.”
The Premier League right-wing spot is debating XI with plating. Mohamed Sarah solidified himself as one of the greatest players in British football history after winning his second title at Liverpool.
Sarah is currently the top 10 scorer in top flight history, but could even surpass Alan Shearer’s record of 260 goals in the division.

But many believe that Cristiano Ronaldo’s pure talent will take the cake. Certainly, Sir Alex Ferguson once claimed that the Portuguese superstar was the “best” player he coached, but Jose Mourinho put him in the same category as Diego Maradona and Pere.
“He’s the best. He’s the best in the world, yes. Probably the best. I’ve seen Maradona a few times. I’ve never seen Pele. But Cristiano is amazing.
“This guy is the best. Cristiano is the goal machine. He’s an incredible player. He’s like Zidane. There’s never another Ronaldo.”

In fact, Ronaldo has won three league titles, one Golden Boot and two Season Awards in the UK, and is considered one of the best two players in football history alongside Lionel Messi.
However, when it comes to Britain’s best and best crown, Liverpool legend Stephen Gerrard revealed that the other one is standing there.
Gerrard: Thierry Henry is the Premier League “Goat”
Speaking in an interview in his time as manager of Aston Villa, Gerrard was quick and solid in his opposition when asked who the greatest person ever was – Arsenal and French forward Thierry Henry.
The former Anfield skipper chose Messi as the greatest in football history, and Real Madrid superstar Killian Mbappe as the next crown, but he didn’t hesitate when he pointed out Henry as the best of British football.
Gerrard was no stranger to Henry’s talent. The Frenchman scored nine times in his 18 career appearances against Liverpool, including a brace in the famous 2-0 victory at Highbury in the 2005/26 season, and Gerrard accidentally founded the winner.
French legend Zinedine Zidane called his compatriots “the most talented footballer ever to play a beautiful game,” and his achievements are very impressive.
