Tottenham won the 2024-25 Europa League – ending a 17-year trophy drought in the process – a 1-0 victory over Man United at San Mamez.
It was a very crude encounter in Bilbao. This embodies the fact that the two teams are in 16th and 17th place in the Premier League. But for Tottenham, that’s little important now, as they finished the season with the trophy. In addition to this, they have secured qualifications for the Champions League next season.
